purpose
With the implementation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP), citizenM wants to take the next steps on customer profile data and personalization at scale and the opportunities both topics present. The CDP will help citizenM drive better customer experience, higher commercial revenues & better team well being. The purpose of the Product Owner CDP is to lead the vision, direction, planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and control of the platform.
key responsibilities
- Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision for the citizenM Customer Data Platform (CDP), aligning it with the overall brand values and business goals that have made citizenM a trailblazer in the industry.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, where innovation and creativity are at the forefront, ensuring the successful delivery of groundbreaking CDP features and enhancements.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including marketing, operations, and IT, to identify and prioritize business requirements for the CDP, ensuring our product is in line with the visionary approach that defines citizenM.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that reflects our commitment to constant improvement, incorporating customer insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the market.
- Agile Execution: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data analytics, to define user stories, conduct sprint planning, and deliver high-quality software releases in an agile environment that embraces citizenM's culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives and department heads, embodying citizenM's commitment to transparency and inclusivity, to ensure alignment, obtain buy-in, and gather valuable feedback on product initiatives.
- User-Centric Design: Champion a user-centric approach to product development, leveraging user research, customer feedback, and data analytics to optimize the CDP for an exceptional customer experience, which lies at the heart of citizenM's brand identity.
- Product Performance: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of CDP features, proactively identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations that align with citizenM's dedication to continuous growth and guest satisfaction.
- Market Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings related to customer data platforms, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain citizenM's position as a pioneering force in the hospitality industry.

qualifications / skills
- solid experience with product management or product ownership experience, preferably in the digital or technology sector, with a focus on customer data platforms or related products.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of data management concepts, customer data platforms, and associated technologies such as data integration, data warehousing, and CRM systems.
- Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in an agile development environment, with strong knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and translate them into a cohesive product roadmap and actionable plans.
