For the structural facility, we are looking for a QC Supervisor.
Functie
- Continuously monitoring the quality levels of various production departments, including Workshop, Assembly, Outfit, and Welding, to achieve and maintain quality standards and work methods.
- Conducting pre-inspections and ensuring adherence to quality standards and work methods.
- Initiating and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Acting as the main point of contact for co-makers and subcontractors regarding quality issues during project execution.
- Independently resolving incoming (complex) quality problems.
- Consulting with the Quality Manager and/or Production Manager in case of major quality issues.
- Inspecting and accepting (parts of) work delivered by co-makers and/or subcontractors both domestically and internationally, in close collaboration with the Production Leader Subcontracting.
- Taking corrective measures in case of rejection and overseeing the follow-up process.
- Providing advice on potential product or process improvements.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the yacht hull building construction phase (overall picture).
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining an external and internal network to access all relevant technical information and advancements.
- Ensuring the enforcement and implementation of standards, processes, and procedures, with a focus on continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Contributing to the development and motivation of employees regarding quality and the overall construction process.

Profiel
Requirements
- Minimum of MBO (Vocational Education) or HBO (Bachelor) degree.
- Relevant experience in ship and/or superyacht construction or a strong willingness to develop in this field.
- Demonstrated competencies in accuracy, result orientation, quality orientation, persuasiveness, and expertise.
- Proactive and adept at problem-solving.
