This is what your talent will contribute to:
- Ensuring of implementation of security measurements to prevent incidents and creation of procedures and guidelines to maintain these with a minimal effect to daily business;
- provide procedures in relation to airfreight security like; access-, packing-, shipping- and recruitment procedures;
- serve as contact person for authorities and participate in meetings together with the Koninklijke Marechaussee (Kmar)and the Nationaal Coördinator Terrorismebestrijding en Veiligheid (NCTV) in regard to export airfreight matters;
- advising and supporting the organization with the development of new products that demands special handling or packaging due dangerous goods classification;
- check on compliancy towards execution of safety- and security procedures and take action where necessary;
- setting up training requirements (awareness and or functional training) for all staff working in airfreight area’s and/or with DGR.

You work in a knowledge-team with 3 direct colleagues and are part of the Supply Chain department where 30 enthusiastic colleagues are active. The Central Management Team and supporting departments like IT, HR, Finance, Strategy & Development, Customer Operations and Distribution & Linehaul (D&L) are located at PostNL Head Office in The Hague (The Netherlands).

Functional
- HBO working and thinking level;
- knowledge of (inter)national regulations on (air) security and safety (e.g. UPU, IPC, ICAO, IATA, NOBB/NCASP)*);
- holds a valid certificate ‘Security Manager’;
- holds a valid certificate ‘IATA DGR Cat.6 - Training DG Guidance 7.3.’;
- detailed knowledge of the international mail industry on transport by air or truck.
Skills
- Good interpersonal, communication and administrative skills;
- fluent (written & verbal) in Dutch & English.
