The DVT Business Development Associate: Netherlands is a junior member of the Sales Team expected to grow DVT’s presence in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxemburg (“the Region”). The sales focus is on providing outsourced Agile software development project team services, IT staff augmentation services, and other relevant DVT technology services to clients in the Region.
DVT’s services are delivered primarily from our operational centers (mainly South Africa and Kenya, which are time-zone aligned with Europe) but with team members potentially being based on-shore (in Benelux) or near-shore (Europe).
The role requires someone highly motivated and knowledgeable in technology services sales in the Benelux region to succeed. You are an EU resident with excellent communication skills in Dutch (First language) and English. Ideally, you are a highly motivated and aspiring sales professional with prior experience in technology sales and sales lead generation (cold calling/email campaigning / social network connections).
PLEASE NOTE the following are mandatory requirements for the role:
- Fluent in Dutch as the first language.
- Resident in the Netherlands (preferably Amsterdam)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) at the business level.
- Experience in a sales function performing new business development, including lead generation.
- A solid understanding of software development and related services.

The DVT Business Development Associate: Netherlands will be supported by leaders and professionals in South Africa, Europe, and other DVT offices. In addition, the role will collaborate with the other Dynamic Technologies group companies in Europe to establish and grow the presence of DVT and the other group companies in the Netherlands and select other countries in the region.
The role's primary objective is to support the growth of DVT's business in the Region. This objective entails predominately lead generation, cold-calling, sales campaigning, opportunity development, and conclusion of sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the execution of a sales plan to achieve targeted sales objectives for the Region.
- Execute lead generation activities for the Region in collaboration with the European DVT Sales and Marketing function.
- Support opportunity identification, qualification, and closure
- Report on Lead and opportunity activities
- Support co-selling activities with regional Group companies.
- Support region marketing initiatives in conjunction with DVT Sales and Marketing function.

- Experience in Sales function, ideally in lead generation and sales campaign execution

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- At least 2+ years of experience in a sales new business development function in the Netherlands region to enterprise clients.
- Beneficial: experience working within international organizations or teams in technology services.
REMUNERATION
Salary will be structured between a primary (fixed) monthly salary amount and commission earnings. Basic + commission earnings will amount to OTE (on target earnings).
