Are you the next Market Development Analyst - Simulation & Testing (STS)?
Your key objective as Market Development Analyst is to analyze trends, market size, insight on market drivers. Collaborate with business partners to support strategic and operational planning. Provide market analyses in support of business unit and/or corporate strategy. Identify market opportunities across business lines.
Engineering companies increasingly need to predict real-world performance of their products using simulation tools that gather all the physics that influence product efficiency and performance including those that cross the boundaries of traditional engineering fields. To improve our product, your task will be to help create a corporate Simulation & Testing Market Strategy in Siemens Digital Industries Software.
Specifically, Simcenter has a leading set of multi-physics solutions for System Simulation allowing simulation of functional behaviour of products operating in real-world conditions. These tools include for example Simcenter Amesim & Simcenter Flomaster which helps companies to innovate by driving automation, design exploration and optimization. As part of our team, you will become an expert regarding the market position of our products and contribute to their increase in market share.
As Market Development Analyst STS some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assess market situation trough Market and Competitor Intelligence analysis based on relationship with main Industry Association, CRM analytics, Business intelligence tools;
- Participate in business development initiatives focusing on scouting of prospects, from which derive digital demand generation initiatives and lead management with the support of dedicated tools;
- Evaluating the market size
- Identifying potential application of Simulation & Testing (STS) software
- Identifying early/first applications, early adopters, and potential users.
- Establishing a route to market for early applications, identifying risks and opportunities.
All about you!
You recently obtained (max 1 year) or hold a bachelor’s degree or higher on, in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, with interest for the technology field. Also, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Proficiency in Dutch would be an advantage.
- Exeprience or interest in the software/technology industry.
- Experience with projects in marketing, management, business planning or operational experience.
- Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
- Experience working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomously.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.
- Experience working in with new technologies.
